All new TEST & GO applications must submit a proof of prepayment for 2 separate nights of accommodation at government-approved hotel/s, such as, SHA Extra Plus (SHA++), AQ, OQ, or AHQ on Day 1 and Day 5, and the expenses for 2 RT-PCR tests on Day 1 and Day 5. 
The prepayment for Day 1 must include an accommodation, a test and a prearranged transfer from the airport to the hotel.

Travellers can book 2 different hotels for the accommodation on Day 1 and Day 5. However, on both Day 1 and Day 5, they must stay within the room for the RT-PCR test result.

The second RT-PCR test will not be required if the traveller’s length of stay is less than 5 nights, or his/her scheduled international departure date out of Thailand is on Day 5 or before. For example if the traveller plans to stay in Thailand for 3 days, then he/she does not have to undergo the second RT-PCR test, but he/she must leave for another country immediately.

However, whether the traveller will be required to take another RT-PCR test depend on the airline and the final international destination.

Conditions

  • Travellers from eligible countries / territories only

  • Exempted from quarantine after testing negative for COVID-19 (RT-PCR) after arrival in Thailand

  • Travel from a port of departure in eligible country / territory and have stayed in eligible countries / territories for at least 21 consecutive days see list of eligible countries / territories

  • Fully vaccinated against COVID-19 no less than 14 days before travelling

  • Obtain a negative COVID-19 test result (RT-PCR), issued within 72 hours before travelling

  • Paid AQ / SHA+ hotel reservation confirmation (for the duration of 1 day and including the fee for one RT-PCR test) THB 2,200 per person

  • Insurance with minimum coverage of 50,000 USD

1.2 Register for:
TEST&GO or Sandbox Programme

Conditions

  • Travellers from any country / territory

  • Stay in the Sandbox area for 7 days and will be able to travel in Thailand thereaftersee list of Sandbox areas

  • Fully vaccinated against COVID-19 no less than 14 days before travelling

  • Obtain a negative COVID-19 test result (RT-PCR), issued within 72 hours before travelling

Documents

  • Passport

  • Thai Visa (if required)

  • Certificate of Vaccination

  • Paid AQ / SHA+ hotel reservation confirmation (for the duration of 1 day and including the fee for one RT-PCR test) THB 2,200 per person.

  • Insurance with minimum coverage of 50,000 USD

PLEASE NOTE THAT YOUR ACCOMMODATION, PCR TEST AND SHA+ TRANSFER MUST BE PRE-PAID IN FULL.

  • Once approved you will receive a Thailand Pass QR code. The approval process can take up to 7 days

  • Present the Thailand Pass QR Code (or COE) to the Health Control to carry out checks, then proceed through the Immigration procedures.

  • Undergo the RT-PCR COVID-19 test at Samui International airport (Children aged under 6 years have a saliva test.)

  • You will also receive an Antigen Test Kit (ATK) for COVID-19 self-testing on Day 6-7.

  • Proceed to the hotel by the pre-arranged airport transfer. (Distance from the airport within 2 hours.)

  • Download and install the MorChana application at the hotel.

  • Wait for the test result within the hotel room, you will not be permitted to leave your room until the hotel has confirmed a negative test result.

  • Get an alert for the self ATK testing on Day 6-7, and to record the result in the MorChana application.

  • Practice the D-M-H-T-T-A precautions: D – Distancing, M – Mask wearing, H – Handwashing, T – Temperature check, T – Testing for COVID-19, and A – alert application.

  • Free to go anywhere in Thailand or leave Thailand to other countries. However, travellers are advised to follow the guidelines and measures announced by the respective province/country of their destination.
